Based off of my limited interaction with Ethan, he seems like a really good dude who makes a truly exceptional product! Unfortunately, he's apparently got a ton going on in his life (these skids are not his main gig), but don't want to speak for him.

Anyway, after picking up a 2021 Tacoma, I'm sad to report that I may need to sell my 1st gen (TBD)...

 

I'm even sadder to report I may need to sell my 22REthan 10ga stainless steel skid plate (manual trans spec) w/ TRD cutout. I don't want to because I believe no one else makes a nicer skid for 1st gen!

It was sold to me directly from Ethan as a "blem," because of some cosmetic discoloring around the TRD cutout area from plastic melting during the production process. It is otherwise in excellent like-new condition with no dents and functions perfectly (the finish/quality is amazing and holds up). PM me if interested--I bought it for $245 even and I would ask for the same, given its durability.

I strongly prefer NOT to ship because work is ramped up and I have very little spare time. If you are in the Mid-Atlantic region (I'm in Baltimore), I might possibly be able to meet up within a reasonable distance at asking price.

 

Any chance to get one of these?

You won’t be disappointed in the skids the best looking out there IMO.

 

How long did it take for you guys to get yours? Ethan promptly replied to my emails a few weeks ago and gave me a tracking number. The tracking number shows it still hasn't shipped only a label was created and he stopped replying to my emails. I get he's busy but I'm starting to get worried.

 

What’s up! I ordered some as well and Ethan updated me and let me know that the laser machine he works on has multiple jobs that need to get done. I also have a tracking number and check it from time to time. Ethan has a good rep out here so I’m sure he’ll come through.
His last email to me let me know he’s already working on it.
