Ammoseek and SGAmmo are good places to keep an eye on. I was able to secure the following for $590 shipped a couple weeks ago from SG.

 

Still lot of snow on the way to the top. Winched through a couple of sections then called it quits. That slushy, melting snow is crap to try to drive over. I was out on sunday doing some pew pew.

Any reason not to use live shotgun rounds found on the side of the road? It has been raining.

 

I know ammo is hard to come by, but I would NOT shoot that stuff. No idea what condition it is in. Worth risking a few hundred to a few thousand dollar firearm for some free, sketchy ammo?

 

That's what I figured. It's a strange thing to see in a residential area.

 

Thats a real grab bag of shells. I think I see at least 5 brass/plastic combos. Even with the cost of ammo these days I probably wouldn't shoot it. I would probably put it in a old jar under a workbench for the end of the world or to confound my heirs. I have hoarder tendencies.

 

My wife found them while on a run today. Usually there are empty four packs of cheap wine and dental flosser picks discarded along this road (discarded dental picks are everywhere, what's the deal with that?)

I was going to pick them up to dispose of them, but it's way too rainy for that right now. I'll happily give the location to anyone interested. It's between Covington and Black Diamond in unincorporated king county.
