    I believe the rail caps and height are different on the 2nd Gen?

    You could remove the header bar and flip the rocky mount rightside up. As far as I can tell the only purpose of the header bar is cosmetic.

    Are the end caps the same as the ones on the end of the rail that comes on the sides of the bed, on the tailgate end? I had to remove mine for my tonneau cover, so that’d be one less thing to buy.

    Not sure if the are the same but I know they fit when I moved mine from the rails on the side to the rail on the header.
