Here's my current loss situation

 

My gains and losses are always big. I mainly trade options and I mainly trade a lot of them. A small price move makes big moves in my account because of the leverage. Keep playing options and you'll get used to those losses and gains. I also almost always buy ITM or ATM contracts. They cost more but have better delta's.

 

It was a memorable moment when I opened that sub in grad school architecture studio at the recommendation of someone in here. Lmfao. I did the ole slam the laptop closed instantly and hope no one saw. Those damn boys from Long Island

Oh I am used to it by now, I know that when they *do* hit it will make some of these losses look like crumbs. I also am way up on options plays in the grand scheme. I have never been more comfortable watching money evaporate lol.

So fidelity app makes options confusing. Just look around at some stuff for if I get approved. Wont simply show me the whole contract price.

Correct on the bottom part. 6.30 per contract (right to buy 100 shares at a strike price by the expiration date) because it's the median of the bid/ask spread.

X 100 is how all options contracts are priced. You also want to know a few more things. Gamma, delta, and implied volatility.

@cartter469 that's how options are shown in all platforms I think. It takes a bit to get used to but it's just one of those "it's how it's done so it's done that way" things.
