Is it possible to purchase the rear spring TSB?

At 120K now on my 2006, my warranty is long expired so there is no way I am eligible for Toyota to pick up the tab on the TSB. But I want to lift the rear .75" to 1" and was thinking this might be as good a way to do it as any, if it is possible to purchase. Of course if it could be purchased, it would probably be typical stealership ripoff rates.

Or should I just have custom AAL's made? I don't want to run blocks.

I am on a budget here, so money is definitely a factor.

 

From what I've read around here you can buy it from Toyota, but its really, really expensive (like $1500!).

 

I would say just buy a 1.5" AAL, or see if you can have custom 1" one made.

Did you have a diff drop?

If so, that's probably the cause of the vibes.

 

No diff drop. My front diff bearing is semi-shot, and manifested symptoms (vibes) when lifted at 2.5". No symptoms now that it's back at 0". My hope would be that I could get away with .85" without any vibes, but I'd be worried that 1.75" would be risking it.

I asked the stealership today how much I could buy them for, and for just the part (no installation) it was $694 PER SIDE.
