I have no emotional investment in any form of transportation. I'm pumped to see the day when Oshkosh can build a BE fire engine.

 

I'm pretty sure I NEED a frunk in my life.

 

It just sounds cool

 

I'm pretty happy with the Decked drawers in my Taco, but I'd bet the stuff I keep in them would easily fit in that frunk. And that would be awesome.

Can't wait to see a bunch of A-holes at Costco popping the frunk to load their groceries. If only they'd put a skewp on it this thing would be doubly awesome!

The saddest thing in all of this (IMO) is how that industry tricked people into WANTING to stick with them. People WANT vehicles that pollute (both noise and chemicals). And often these folks are from rural areas that depend on the land for farming/fishing/hunting to be clean.

When I grew up, family/friends would go around yelling “Fuck OPEC” and sick to their stomachs about oil spills - now those same people are upset about American car manufacturers using power (somewhat) derived from within this country. I’d happily take an inconvenience in range/charging to fuck over that industry.

(And it’d only be an inconvenience when traveling, since I can just plug the damn thing in at home and stop going to gas stations during the week.)

 

Damn - if it had AC going to it that’d be dope… is Frunking going to the the new Tailgating?

 

Could just be a cool camp toilet too.

 

I’ll stick to gas until they find a way for me to fully charge the truck in 10 minutes during road trips

 

You know some Ford exec is saying "What the FRUNK"?!? why didn't we think of this.

 

And a way to strap a few Jerry cans worth of charge on bed rack for off roading trips.

 

I think the VW Beetle takes credit for the invention of the Frunk.

IDK, sounds like you grew up during strange and uncertain times. The only thing that is consistent is one person will say something, and the next person will say something different.

 

Batwing solar panel for when stopped and full time integrated hood/roof/wedge-top whatever when moving. Those jerry cans are useless once they’re empty.
