Has anyone with this rack run into an issue of the the front wind deflector won't raise up too far because the lightbar would hit it. Also I bought sherpas baja lightbar hardware but every which way I try it just won't line up right. Or is the lightbar bracket go on the horizontal cross bar

Bracket is designed to go on the horizontal crossbar. If you're still having issues give us a call and we can get you figured out!

Noticed that you have button head bolts on your rack, but most other shots of the Sherpa rack shows hex head bolts. Did you buy your own hardware or did they change the hardware included in the rack.

no, but imagine they are fine. I love my sherpa. Glad I did not opt for a prinsu. the guys at sherpa have provided amazing fucking customer service always, and to top things they are generally curious about their customer builds.

another + for sherpa from me. I have spoken with the owner several times, and various customer reps. they are good people and actually give a genuine fuck about their customers. They make a solid god damn rack that is superior to any other on the marker IMO. cannot beat that 1/4 man.

from what I understand, SR model tacomas do not come pre drilled, tapped etc. If you have a SR5 and above you should be fine. There is not drilling. I got mine this jan and installed it, it was a breeze.

    Work in progress

I give these guys a lot of credit. They are a vendor that takes installation instructions seriously -- that is critical for dummies like me.

    Full instructions and video here:
    https://sherpaequipmentco.com/pages/instructions

Looks like double cab has no drilling. Access cab requires drilling. I also give them credit for an excellent video on this as well.

They are a benchmark for install instructions ...

For those who have this rack, have you noticed any noise or loss of mpg?

of course. IMO prinsu sucks, upoverland racks are cool but they are trying to do too much with their racks. sherpa is the happy medium.
