Sorta reminds me of a story in a movie told by a Mexican building security officer (Devil is the movie), but probably totally different. Feel is similar though, very urban-legendy.

Feels good in hand. Initially transforms the nothchy 5 speed gate. Nice focal point of interior. Delivery and packaging exceeded my expectations.
I got 5 on it! Cheap scale

My knob arrived and is now installed. Looks and feels great. Install was super simple but the shim part can be tricky.

On the next hot day you're going to have thermal expansion open the copolymer threads up, and be able to screw it on a bit further. Have shims handy, because it'll need it again. After that you're set, mine (same knob) hasn't moved since last July.

Good to know. I’ll keep an eye on that and look forward to the next shim fight I have on my hands. Took me about 20-30 mins to get it right

It is a pain in the ass, but luckily it is quickly forgotten.

On the flip side, after second-shim you will likely never be able to take it apart again (meaning, Brass core removal) unless you deliberately heat it up.

Edit: the opposite is true for SS/ copolymer hybrids as the copolymer core would expand in heat and have no effect on orientation, as it is bound by the stainless. Taking these apart could require putting in the fridge or freezer for 15 mins.

Rick you are a master of your craft good sir! Just got my shift knob in - a day earlier than expected!

Of course my wife had to play a cruel trick on me and take the knob out of the box before I got home from work and replace it with a damn orange. I was about 10 seconds away from going ape sh*t before I looked at her smiling face, lol

But man does thing feel and look great! Lost a couple shims to the bowels of my driver's seat but all in all I am beyond thrilled with this. Thanks again!

I always considered getting on this list for this but at the time couldn't justify the funds. Hopefully you'll be taking orders soon as I'm really getting the itch for an upgrade! Shame that people who say they are going to commit don't.

Yeah, it's annoying, but I really do think everyone means well at the time. They just move to the next mod or money gets committed elsewhere. I've accepted this as normal at this point. After dealing with what comes along with 1200 Etsy sales, that shit was nothing ... lol.

Be sure to keep an eye out here, some of these will go on sale soon. I will announce when ... next week sometime after the mentioned 7 have their crack at it.

Just to give an idea, some absolute genius developed this website (I have the chrome extension) to help Etsy sellers see the Karen's coming from a mile away.

I like to think it would be a phone app, set up much like the device in Aliens.
