How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

Twin Cities Motors, Herculaneum MO. They went full used car, indian phone scammer crazy on me before meekly shutting up and giving me my money back at the drop of the world "lawyer."

 

This unknown amount of wait time is rough. Im in the PNW and I placed a deposit 2/18 for an Army Green DCLB TRD OR with the tech package. I've been checking in with the dealership once a month through text. The original ETA was 10-12 weeks then later 12-16 weeks. Just called today and still no news only that its in their system and allocated, but no build date yet. That they are still backed up cause of the chip shortage. Been looking at other dealers out of state and websites, but no luck, only short beds around here in AG. Guess I'll keep puttering around town in my 99 Jeep GC 2WD

 

Could be the dealer, I'm in pnw as well, deposit down 3/27, allocation confirmed on 4/6 and it starts being built tomorrow.

 

Army green dcsb premium with tech (not advanced) 6 mt was my "order".

 

I think its because I'm looking for a LB. All the dealerships I've called so far only have SBs in stock or available for allocation. What dealership did you got through if you don't mind me asking?

It was a rough couple months, but it was my choice to wait for my dream truck and it was definitely worth it.

 

So I ordered the double cab long bed in Army green. I added the TRD premium package, LED package, and the advanced tech package.

 

I put a deposit down last week on a DCLB and my dealer here in Memphis told me it would probably be June before they got an allocation with an expected build date in August. I’m just settling in for the long wait now.

Barcelona red, TRD Sport 2WD (I know, I know, but I really don't do the whole off-roading thing). I also ordered the tech package.

 

ZERO judgement from me! I moved from Georgia to Maine in a '99 PreRunner. I made it five winters in it--got smart after getting myself stuck/in situations that 4wd would have prevented or got me out of. I do not do any off roading but want/need the 4wd in the winter with a 70mi daily commute.

 

If we had your winters, I’d have sprung for it too. Here in Tennessee we just shut everything down at the slightest hint of snow/ice.

 

Haha oh I know how that is! I lived near Savannah from '00-'10 then in Atlanta '10-'13. Got to experience the ice storm that shut ATL down for a week in '11.

 

We still want the 4x4 whether, (weather) we need it or not...2 hours a year..

 

Well I was just told today that my truck should now be here at the end of July. This is BS, I have seen many people order after me and take delivery of theirs and I am still waiting. Then to make things worse I was sent a screen shot of the build and they screwed the build up. Looks like they added other things on the build I did not want. Still trying to find out what each code means.

 

New to the forum...I ordered a 2021 TRD off road army green double cab long bed. Extras included: premium package, bed lighting kit, door guards, all weather mats, mud flaps, black out package, bed mat, TRD shift knob, tech package. I placed the order on 4/25/21. I was given as estimated date of 2nd to 3rd week of June. I've already purchased K&N 77 cold air intake, JL tw3 10inch sub with stealth box. Once I get the Truck I'm putting an Icon stage 3 lift with BFG's 285/70/17s and Fuel rebel 6 bronze wheels. Cant Wait Good luck everyone.

 

Don't hold your breath on the delivery date. I was told that one of the plants shutdown today due to covid or whatever. Do you have a print out of the build with all the options?
