I am also in dire need of this mod when it would be available! My poor clutch has taken a beating with the tall reverse gear! Many thanks for all the work that has been done with this mod!

Just a note that the PDF with images showing how to get to the buried ECU connector behind the glove box done by @BigWhiteTRD was slightly different in a few places on my '19 Sport access cab. Very minor and didn't prevent me from successfully removing & reinstalling the plastic, but the images showing the location of screws is a little different in some places. Not a big deal, and thanks to him for taking the time to create and post the images, they were very helpful! See post #1621 in this thread.

 

I recently made time to install this today. On first starting the truck after finishing, I get an ABS message, and my ABS and traction control lights are both on.
Seems like I may have not plugged something in all the way? Is the answer to take the glovebox back out and disconnect/reconnect the plugs?

 

That would be the best place to start.

The only error that you should every see is 2WD / 4WD Error when you goof up the sequence. That can cleared by cycling the ignition.

 

If you don't have something plugged in right, communication to the abs ecu (CAN bus) gets interrupted. Try unplugging and re seating the connectors making sure they click in. If that doesn't fix it, check for bent pins on all the male connections.
