I really want to clear 33 inch tires, without any serious trimming, but I can’t find the right lift kit, I don’t really do off-roading so I don’t need a really expensive one. Any good cheap ones out there? Also, are lifts bad for Tacoma’s? Like do they cause a lot of stress on the ball joints?

If you off road and want 33s no matter what lift you have you have to trim and cut

It can be done with pizza cutters and the right offset wheel. If don’t want to look like you mounted bicycle tires get ready to do some cutting.

When you say cut are you like actually cutting metal? Or just like the plastic fender well?

    Hi,

I have a 3/2 spacer level kit and 285/75r16 on a -6 offset with no trimming and only heard rubbing 2 times for a split second.

a few things. The tire is not a true 33. I put the spacer in not thinking I would keep the truck long term, I am going to change it. I only drive the truck street maybe 100 miles a month so the spacer is fine for my use. I have 2wd. If yours is a daily driver you may want to look into more suspension mod than a spacer.
