Howdy! Yeah I worked a lot during the Covid thing. Mostly day shift and a lot of crazy shit. It’s been more than a year since I was regularly on here. In January I got a new gig flying and we work 7 24 hour shifts in a row with 7 days off.

Dog got cancer and lost a leg. Dog got chemo. Dog survived cancer and chemo. Bought a house. Etc.

Drama and adulting. You know the drill.

damn sorry to hear about the pup, our last rescued girl had seizures and had to get meds every 8 hours. Went on for a couple years then found she had an inoperable tumor. Couple ER and dr visits and damn near 10k later we had to say goodbye.

the crazy shit we do for the ones we love.

been grinding out this covid shit here too; 11 office shutdowns where we had to work from home shipping out arrest warrants from the kitchen table. Looks like we’ll be fully back to “normal” at the beginning of next month.

Completed my 3 nights in a row...I'm tired. People do some seriously stupid stuff to themselves.....and I don't even work in the ED. I work Med/Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit.
