What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Flashed KDMax 6.0 (upgraded from Kruiser tune) and got rid of some chrome by installing TRD Pro tail lights. Loving both mods.

 

Using more than one plastic pry bar. You have to open up the gap and bury it deep for it to hold.

 

ok, so possible dumb question: do you have to have a sunroof to have that rack fit, or is it called a sunroof rack b/c it is big and on the ceiling, like a sunroof?

I really like that model, but don't have a sunroof in my SR5...

Yes, this model is for sunroof equipped tacos. He’s had one for non-sunroofs for a while now:

The big difference is the location of the dome light.

 

Must have a sunroof for this one to fit. He makes one for no sunroof models also

I want to do exactly this, but I have some questions. How did you wire them? Can you splice them into your reverse lights, or did you wire them to a switch on the dash?

 

Got my front BAMF skid back on. Had to trim a bit to clear the Marlin gussets

I think I’m gonna go this route. I PD’d my emblems when I got the truck a month and a half ago, and it’s already starting to peel. Maybe I did it wrong…but it doesn’t matter. I like the idea of “doing it right” and the filled in A’s and 6’s on the overlay kits kinda drive me nuts.

Same. The sport I'm picking up tomorrow has overlays, so one of the first "mods" will be to swap them out for proper black emblems.

Having trouble finding the part number for the "V6", but I'll ask at the dealer. IIRC the SX actually doesn't have the V6 emblem, but I think TRD Pros do, so it should be easy to track down.
