The first thing I'd do is remove those side steps then upgrade the head unit and speakers. With mileage that low there isn't a lot of maintenance to do really.

My first Tacoma was an 06 Prerunner. Never needed the 4x4 either. Sold it with 86K in 2014 and bought a new 2014 4x4 DCSB because... I had the cash just wanted a 4x4.
The Prerunner sold in 15 minutes.

    Congrats.

I am so looking forward to working on this... Alpine iLX-409 ready to go in with backup camera, tint the windows and a couple of nice oem+ upgrades.

Great video OP. That's really a sweet little truck you've got there. I love the tan interior. Reminds me a lot of the fantastic 1st gen trucks. Fantastic buy!

Congrats! That undercarriage looks like it rolled off the showroom floor.
OP, you do not want to buy an OEM tailgate handle/camera since the OEM is 6V. Look into an aftermarket 12V tailgate handle with camera that will make the install much easier to the aftermarket radio. Look into Master Tailgater tailgate camera for tacomas on Amazon. I reused their camera into my locking PopnLock since I wanted a locking tailgate. Works great.

Yeah - I thought I would capture this... a couple of things I will be doing. Integrating a replacement USB / cig. lighter that will be plugged into the Alpine. Counter sink the mic into the overhead sun glass and overhead lighting console. And due to the Chrome nature of things (while many on here won't like that LOL) - Chrome rear handle that Wattapunk describes. I got the exact unit in Chrome to hide the black handle sticking out on the white paint.

Yes - coolant, brake were done in 2019 - oil is due and focusing on rear diff as well... She needs it. Changed out the air-filter to a K&N last night it really needed that wow.

That’s just so sweet. Great buy! I would consider putting leather in there. Everything else is perfect!

Personally, I’d put the stock air filter back in it then clean the MAF sensor

YES already on my list + Seat Heaters...

Got the oil and rear diff fluid changed. While there were no complaints before it is now smoooooth as butta. They also ordered the rear springs as the existing TWO were sagging. Would I need to consider adding Bilstein 5100's to keep a good ride?

FWIW. Take a close inspection of all the rubber hoses and vacuum lines. 16 years can destroy rubber.

Suggest to run through the 100K mile service schedule.

    Date code on the tires.

Otherwise, drive it for a few months to determine what you want to do for mods.....if any.
