I HAD to have the power sliding rear window. Now I'm paying that price with the amp rack LOL.

The 1.800 and the rest of the missing gear should be here this weekend so hopefully by Sunday I'll be up and running. Getting as much of the pre-wiring as I can done now so it'll be almost plug and play. Wiring most of it up with XT90 connectors except for the main power and ground feed.

 

I wish you were closer to NC, id definitely swing by with some food drinks and lend a hand. You are going to have a thread that should be a sticky.

 

Lived just south of Charlotte (Fort Mill) for about 12 years before moving back to Florida.

I just need to figure out routing of the signal and speaker wires.

Had to ditch the LCQ. It was defective. Going to go DSP of some sorts I think. Need to do some research tonight.

Probably not. It's already been installed and has marks around the mounting holes.

 

Ahh ok. Can always add it later. I’m sure it already sounds good. Have you tried the highs yet

 

I had the 4.800 up and running yesterday and it sounded really good until the LCQ went completely haywire. Right now nothing is hooked up again until I figure out routing for all the rest of the wiring after moving all the equipment around.

 

Ahh gotcha. Can’t wait for more updates

 

It's looking like the Audison BitTen may be the DSP of choice here.

 

I feel like 5Star had good things to say about that one on one of their DSP talks

 

Ordered the Bit Ten last night. That should be the last piece unless I have to replace the head unit at some point.

In the mean time I'm hooked up to the high level in on the 4.800 and everything sounds great. I knew I was going to give up some really low end extension with the reduced airspace but I'm still pleased.

The only install bit left is to 3D print up some clips to hold the top of the racks secure and to vinyl wrap the final trim panel for the sub enclosure.

 

I bet it sounds real strong. Clean install ans setup
