Good Morning SA! Looks like it will be dry and sunny, so cut a branch off my neighbors tree that over the shed, and get it to the street. Might even mow, so that it gets done between the rains.

Since it's been so busy around here, I'll try to give you a laugh.
So, how was branch removal here at Heck's Half Acre? Well, remember, around here, it's a matter of scale compared to a lot of you!

Since I can't elevate properly, here's a before and after to see what went. ONE branch over the shed and encroaching on the greenhouse. If it was afternoon, you would see the solar and vent well shaded.




Same tools, just at a reduced scale!



OK, it's down....





Got to make that mess fit in the wagon! Two loads...




And dump it all on the sidewalk.



Just kidding! That's my neighbor across the street - lost that branch in one of the storms this week. This is REALLY my pile!



You can't see the branch, but this shot makes it easier to see the NOT branch.




All good, nothing broken, and the sun shines on the solar. Then I tripped on the garage door rope, hit the shelf and concrete, bruised my ribs, and mowed the yard.

 

Yup, tree work. I used the orange to pull this one out today, the Feb freeze killed it. I have 3 more and much larger ones to take down as well.

 

Like I said, a matter of scale! I'll be building a BBQ tomorrow!

Sweet, it's totally different from a pellet smoker, but same concept using coal. Looks like it has great reviews. I'm hungry already, what's for dinner?

 

I think I have some chunk apple wood left, which I can use mixed in with charcoal! That's the part I like, real wood smoking. Otherwise, set and leave it like a pellet. I'm sure I have to season it first, but I think some 321 ribs are first this weekend! Brisket over Memorial Day!

 

You better cook a cheap pork shoulder/butt first before experimenting on an expensive brisket...

 

Well, I'm the only one would eat that without prior proof, so, I've made many brisket in shorter time span, I think it will work out. Then, they get the "new" things!
