Yeah, I updated that post to clarify if you use an after market upper control arm to get that caster.

    Check out the build
Ok so with the TC UCA I won't be too far off with the LCA pivot kit and a lift? My end goal is to get caster closer to factory and move the tire forward.

honestly you can sell your tcs for pretty much the same price you’ll pay for brand new JD arms with the correct .25” caster for the pivot kit. $600 shipped more or less before the group buy discount.

plus the uniball is booted and you won’t have to grease the bushings. Kind of a win win.

Still have to get it over to the dyno next week for tuning and pull the valve body out of the tranny before it will be really sweet!

That’s right you are doing a manual valve body on that still aren’t you? Gears? Or waiting to throw a 9” under it before gearing it?

No if you fully read the context of the conversation the spacers were mentioned as to illustrate a loss of GC especially with the design of DK arms. In no way did I imply they were a bad product or sub par. You just felt that way due to owning them.

Curious to see how the manual valve body goes. And would be super curious to compare that to the very aggressive trans tune I’m running in mine.

the beast awakens. Having a valve body upgrade would be awesome. no more slushbox. Also, less boosty funtimes and more inner fender bending and welding! :D

I thought factory caster was 3.5-4 degrees. So if you are already getting 5 degrees then you beyond factory. If you go with the LCA mounts and keep your TC arms, you will find yourself not optimizing the system.

    This is good advice.

wholesale automatic transmissions from Down under has a sweet valve body that really helps out. Very crisp shifts.

So, first impressions of off road performance now that you’ve had it in the dirt?
