I don’t get how people thought it was hard. It was slightly harder then changing out all the interior lights ‍♂️.
On a side note just ordered everything to build this and a bag. Should go perfect on the rack . Nice 556 build

Most of the guys saying it was a PIA are the non sun roof owners, myself included. Stew told me himself that the non sun roofs are a tight fit.

Any idea approximately when you might have these ready for purchase? I'm looking for an easy way to add quick fist mounts to mount an Element E50 fire extinguisher.

I was going to ask if anyone else found the need to use a foot to install it. For me laying on my back with my head on the armrest and a foot pushing in the center of the panel was just what I needed to get the bolts to line up with the holes. Definitely one of the more difficult bolt on mods I’ve done so far.

That sucks that some of you had a difficult install.

It took me roughly 20 minutes to install.
I purchased the non sunroof model and kept the OEM handles.. I installed it without the handles first, used a 2x4 that was the perfect length to prop up the opposite side since I installed solo.

Once everything was in place and secure , I removed one bolt at a time and installed the handles.. it made it really easy.

What connects do you guys use to attach your bags?

Looking at all the sunroof install pics, it's making me wonder if that one will fit in the access cab...

This product works just fine for access cabs - non sunroof rack but maybe someone will try it?

I have dialed in my AR mounts for the rear molle panel (goes behind your rear seat) from @docloco. I am working on something similar that will work well with the hex holes in MESO's ceiling rack. Also, might need a quick latch or something to make sure its secure since its not a vertical mount... Stand by!

I think a buttstock receiver and a solid barrel clasp would be great.

Y’all said this was easier to install with two people, but I disagree. My 1 year old just sat there staring into space the whole time.
Seriously though, I’m really liking this product so far, but i am curious, the rubber covers on the ends, are they just meant for shipping or are some of you leaving them in place? Somehow I think it looks better leaving them on. I was even thinking of gluing them in place.

I installed my sunroof model today. It was pretty easy if you follow the video.

I do have one issue and I think it looks like crap just like BlueDevil mentioned. It's the fit on the side of the dome light.

This is the view from the back door looking in. Notice the gap above the dome light?

Here is my install. Overall I like it, but the chrome colored screws are a no go for me. I ordered black bolts and washers.

I do have extra bolts that fit if anyone is interested.

Yup! That is how mine looks but it has even more of a gap on the right side than the left.

I hadn't noticed the gap until you all mentioned it. So, at 3:50 AM there I was in my garage opening the back door.....Mine is much less noticeable, but there. I also have some black hardware enroute.

@MESO - you might want to look at a redesign of the front spacer/dome light adapter to eliminate the gap between the current one and the roof line.
