This thread is related to Method wheels... specifically the MR316. I was having a hard time finding pictures of these wheels on a Tacoma. Please post pictures and feed back on the wheels if you have them or know someone that has them... I'll start with mine and share my impressions of these wheels now and as time goes on. Please include your wheel specs, tires you run, whether you added a spacer etc. Here is my set up MR316 17X8.5 0 offset 4.75 backspacing tires are General Grabber x3 285 70 17 lifted 3 inches in the front 2 in the rear. No spacers. Also the color of the rims gloss titanium. I hope this helps those looking at purchasing these wheels. Or, at the very least, give you something nice to look at.

    Hi,
Thanks for this! That's exactly the rims I want but I will get the 16.
my truck is the same color as yours too. Can you do and close-up of the rims to appreciate better the color?
    Thanks,
    Jorge

These wheels are exactly what I was looking for in a wheel amd so far I am happy. The width of the wheel (8.5 inches) makes 285s look as they should compared to how they looked on the oem 7 inch wide wheel. The finsh, build quality, packaging and presentation was all top notch! At this time no negatives to speak of... one thing I will note is that I wish there was an option for these wheels in 16 inch (even if I would have leaned towards getting 17s regardless).20210520_202649.jpg 20210520_203106.jpg 20210520_131207.jpg 20210519_044611.jpg

At this time it comes in 17x8.5 with 4.75 backspacing 0 offset or 18x9 | 6x5.5 | 18/5.75" hey maybe if more demand is there they will release a 16 inch version. Don't rule out the 17s though... I was originally looking for 16s and ended up with these either option is good and both setups can render a beefy tire with no rubbing.

You're right. The MR701 comes in 16, but not the MR316. Love how they look on your truck.

That's actually a really good deal. I'm going to check on the 701 gloss titanium to see if the seller has any.
    Thanks!

I got the MR316's put on last week. 17x8.5 with 0 offset in black. I got the Gorilla conical extended thread lug nuts. Tires are Cooper Rugged Trek in 265/70-17. Too new to really have an opinion on them, but I like the way they look and the setup rolls really smooth.

No? Too small or not enough offset?

Did you use the hub centric rings that came with the wheels? Mine just came in today. I tested fitted the wheel without and they seemed to fit perfect with out them.

You don't need to use the hub rings.

Awesome thank you. Can’t wait to get them on. Where did you get your lug nuts? Or what kind did you get.
