smooth as butter. The v.1 was more rough than the v.2 of the daily special. The newest version feels freakishly smooth after settling, like a new transmission fluid flush

Mat,

Editing maps in the EROM today and noticed that the accelerator maps somehow have gotten linked together.

2&5 are the same, the rest adopted identical maps.

Only applied changes to 3,6&7 so far. 8 automatically took what I entered in 3

Overall, great update. Looking forward to 1.3

Do you mind emailing me what you mean? All maps are working just fine for me, tested on pro and non pro versions.


Also if you're talking about some of the maps being identical, that is just how I did them. They need finely tuned by the person doing the tuning

Trying to register for the first time on VF.... it keeps giving me an error message saying the username can only have letters and numbers...
I have tried various usernames with only letters or letters and numbers nothing special... wont let me proceed.

 

Make sure you don't have spaces

 

Double checked. no spaces within, before or after

 

I tried a few more times and it went thru... Odd but hey, it's working I think

Flashed a fully tuned map switch file to the truck. Ran great for two laps around the neighborhood then died. Popped a check charge control message before stalling out.

Crank no start, bricked fully needing to attach to computer to undo it.

Spare ECU does not start either now.

Going to troubleshoot but I don't know what would have caused the spare to not work after a swap.

 

Did you reprogram the immobilizer?

 

I have a hard time understanding how an ECU can be flashed successfully and run fine, then be "bricked" after driving for a bit. Connect with Techstream and check for codes or other issues.

 

Both have been programmed. The back up is actually my original ECU running the stock file.

Techstream cannot communicate with the truck when the ECU is attached. Outside the truck it can interface and be programmed.

Redid it on the bench and I’m still a crank no start on all ECUs.

Truck ran good for one neighborhood lap. Second one it stumbled on accel so I head back, died half way. No mas
