I’ve been watching 1962s “The Longest Day” tonight. I learned that Hitler was asleep during D-day landing. He had taken a sleeping pill and nobody had the balls to wake him up and let him know. yeah they’re the same. With VTSAX you have a 3k minimum to contribute but after that you can contribute in whatever denominations you want. Twenty bucks is twenty bucks if you know what I meant.

vti is the ticker symbol for an etf which is the same but only goes in share denominations, so right now it’s about 215 per share, if you want to invest 100 bucks tough shit. You can only do it by a per share basis.

beyond that it’s the same for owning each. 0.03 ER and same dividend per dolla dolla bills, I think.

 

vti VTSAX same thing. There’s only so much to say it slightly outperformed sp500 in back testing so I go with that because the ER is a lot less than SPY and other funds. Long term those small differences make a big difference. Boring funds everything goes into vti but it’s the same as VTSAX. Depends on your vehicle. On the vanguard site it’s VTSAX. On TD it’s VTI because it’s a commission to invest in VTSAX via td and that would be silly.
