Sick of working on this and I have t even been working on it anywhere near as long as my other projects. Only like 15 hours or so maybe?

Shocks strapped 1/4” shorter than full droop for when the pack shock unloads. Baggies looking tits.

Nah considering it’s cut from 3/16” rect tube compared to the what 1/8” stock shit? And even then the stock shit mostly collapsed for 2 reasons. Rust or extremely hard impacts from stock bump rubber or even slightly stiffer like wheelers bumps. With the bags the impact is going to be much more progressive.

Anyone have any tips on getting old vinyl off?

And yes, actually going to wheel the 1st gen this weekend before it sits for another who knows how many months.

ah didn't know you'd upgraded the mounts. Cool. Should be good then.

And well..maybe. Idk depends on how heavy you are and how much you drive like an asshat when weighed down I think  hopefully it works outs.

haha funny you post that because I just sold my useless bro bar (black vinyl and dabbing a glare shield were the only things I could think to make it useful) in hopes to find the plasma. Looks like a shit job regardless though.

meh upgraded... used old metal I had lying around when I extended my frame mounts for the front bumper, same difference. I think I bought like a 6 ft tube and it’s become many uses, from this, to extending the frame mounts twice, to being part of my rear axle seal press tool.

My new box for the bed just showed up, hoping to get this installed and make a height matching platform for the rest of the bed so I can take my camper shell off this summer. 552342DF-B463-492B-B10C-B8CF7D7232D2.jpg

Luckily where I live it's not really sticking. Where I work, about 2'' when I left. Closer to the mountain I've heard anything from 4-12'' haha

Grabbed a steel spacer from the hardware store, cut it close to length and grinded it to fit. Then painted it.
