Well they apparently have 2 and they call them pre-owned even though they have only 40 miles on them. Not sure who is buying these and then selling them back? They want 118k for them.

Like I said in my previous post, I got a dealer to agree on 45k for my manual trd pro coming next month. I'll take it.

I am genuinely curious who is paying those prices...anyone who has done their research knows that price is out of line. Are there people going into dealerships buying top of the line without doing their homework?

I really don't think people are is the thing. Unless it's extreme desperation or they really do have a lot of liquidated money. I just think it's the dealers way to combat the price of used vehicles right now and to try and capitalize on the supply. I can maybe understand people paying closer to MSRP where as before they negotiated down, but if you are paying for a blatant "market adjustment" price before negotiating idk what you are doing. That's the most blatant mark up advertisement I've ever seen.

    A few.
Seems like the only people who have a decent chance of getting a deal right now are those who have a good trade in.

I was eyeing the TRD Pro for the longest time but refused to pay over MSRP. Even had a family member who works at Gulf States and the dealerships still wouldn’t give any discounts given the inventory situation. Used was out of the question as they’re pretty much same as new prices. Located in Houston, TX. Then I discovered the Nightshade package

Black 4x2 Nightshade Tonneau package, with a bunch of other accessories. Pretty much fully loaded.

    MSRP: 44.3k (TTL not included)
    Purchased: 44.6k OTD (TTL included)

Been searching for a good 2-3 months. I felt like I got a good deal. Anyone think otherwise? Truck was on the lot for less than 2 days.

Just picked up this exact truck up a couple of hours ago. Talked to the sales guy on February 12th and they found one in their allocation that was exactly what I wanted.
Got a few different delivery schedule updates that I'll put in the thread "How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?"

I would have received the $1000 Toyota Incentive less than 3 weeks ago for a total of 8.1% off MSRP, but had to settle for the current $500 incentive, that along with the
dealer price reduction came in at 6.8% off MSRP.

I'm very satisfied, especially after seeing that reductions below MSRP are few and far between across the country. The dealership I got this from stopped giving any dealership discount at the beginning of May, but honored the deal we had made back in February.

Yes I’m in Los Angeles California, sticker was 45,700. It is the premium package-sunroof/leather. JBL subwoofer, side steps, the small step near the tailgate, door sill protected, door edge guard-the clear plastic stuff, I was out the door at 51,070. Oh and LED headlights and fog light

Ultimately it doesn't matter where you negotiate but has anyone gone after the delivery fee? The "doc fee" is bs and already have that in my sights.
