Brown santa just dropped these off. No directions anywhere so hopefully I can figure them out. This is straight off the truck into the garage. A few shots of them, I will update back this afternoon after I am done working with a test fit and installed pics before I wipe them down and prime them. Sorry the pics arent the best they are sitting on my trailer build. Was worried the hardware fell out of the package but the box was taped in pretty well.

Mine were pretty straight forward. I found it far easier to stick a bolt on a breaker bar with masking tape to get the bolts that goes inside the frame on the drivers side vs the nut on a stick they supply. 3rd gens may be different but I have a bunch of brake lines infront of the frame opening that I didn’t want to move.

What are the nuts on the sticks for? I didnt get any directions so I have no clue where those go. Also there is a hole in the second leg back on the bottom part of my slider but no hole on the frame. Mine also didnt come with any of the nuts only the bolts so I am waiting to hear back from them on what size they are so I can go pick some up instead of waiting for them to send them.

Over all my test fit is ok. Some of the holes don't line up super well with the frame but that may change once I get the bolts in and start cranking them down. 2nd leg in from the front sticks down further than the frame does even with the rest of the slider against the bottom and side of the frame. There is a bolt hole in the same second leg on the bottom part of the mount but no hole in my frame there (maybe for 3rd gens?). The front seems to kiss the body and looks like it might kiss the body mount once bolted up. Hopefully once bolted in place the rear hikes up a bit lowering the front a little so it doesn't rub the body/body mount.

I had two holes I had to waller out a bit to fit too.

the nuts on a stick go into the frame rail. There are two holes in the frame capped off. It goes in thru the frame rail you see in your last pic.

I reached up in and can feel 2 slots that feel like they go through the frame but didnt think they felt big enough to fit the bolts through. So those straps with a single nut welded on go inside that part of the frame rail and the bolt goes through the leg into the capped portion of the frame then that strap gets tossed in there to bolt it all together.

My straps only have 1 nut welded to it and another hole in the middle with no nut welded to it. Pics on the website show straps with 2 nuts welded to each.

Not for nothing, you guys have spent more time going over install questions than it would have to slap together a pdf with a couple pictures.

So I can't help anyone who doesn't reach out for a status. @piff I'll send you a PM.

@AStinkyBumb Your sliders were pretty close to on time. What happened with yours was out of our control due to Powder Coating not sending them out. Again sorry for the trouble.

If anyone needs anything just reach out to me. I try to respond back same day.

Yeah I just talked with Derrick on the phone about the hardware thing, He was very apologetic about the lead times and he figured with the rushed ship instead of freight some of the hardware probably got lost in shipment. I was just trying to help Piff here feel better that he's not the only one seeing the wait times he is experiencing. After receiving mine Tuesday I can say they are worth the wait. I'm going to be wiping mine down with alcohol tonight and start priming them. :kona:

Nuts are shipped out so I finally started prepping and painting. Hit it with some alcohol to get all the oil off, then primed and hit it with its first coat of semigloss black.
Edit: these are for a double cab long bed if anyone was wondering.

Got an email from the owner over a month ago that the sliders would ship that week. That was over a month ago.

I understand supply issues, I understand Covid delays. I do not understand the lack of communication and then not following through on what little communication you’ve put out there.

will call the shop next week and get a “status update”, if I can’t get an “on my doorstep date” I will ask for my refund or submit a claim with PayPal.
