Ewwww! High looks fantastic but ewww!

 

I crab legs are love hate for me! Love the meat, it’s just not worth it! Unless someone can show me how not to struggle maybe I’ll start getting them again! Fuck the canned stuff! Lol.

 

Thats how I feel about peel n eat shrimp, love em but would rather have them already peeled just sittin there in a bowl for me. And they're really really messy

It's not horribly cold, but we did gave a fire last night after we assumed we would finally be done for the season. The weather right now is just being spastic out west and considering we have to travel soon that's a multi state complaint, not just home.

X2. I also don't really care for it cold and don't really understand the draw of crab legs on ice. They're just watery.

 

My wife and kid love them; to me they just taste like the butter they're dipped in. So why not just drink the butter and skip the mess?

 

Same. I'll friggin DEMOLISH shrimp and cocktail sauce...but not if I have to peel the shrimp first.

The crab fork always rips the meat! I never get it out in one piece.

Exactly. Even a crab boil makes them watery. I like roasted or fried crab.

Had some shrimp scampi last night for the first time. I mean I’ve had shrimp but I don’t know what the scampi means... I was gonna ask you about that. It was delish.

 

Side note:
My trash bill has gone up about $30 (quarterly) in the past 6 months. I think I'm gonna start throwing my trash in my neighbor's grass.

 

Never had a crab boil before. I'm not even sure I've had an anything boil before to be quite honest. Maybe at a joe's crab shack once back in the day, but that probably doesn't count. I've always been more of a bbq girl.

Also, if you take a fork prong up the back of the shrimp the shell slips right off.
