Are these rust holes in frame?

    Pioneer CD, Megaloud/JBL amps, Rockford/Polk speakers.
    The second one was about the size of a nickel, I pushed on it with one finger and it caved in to what you see.

    Found that on a Tuesday while getting the mail. Called the local dealer and dropped it off that Thursday, there it has been since. It's approved so now just waiting on the frame to be made, shipped, etc..

    Ok thats real rusty. Cant find a junk tacoma for donor rocker panel too. Maybe I shouldnt complain about rust.

    The original photo you posted is a drain hole. Mine looked exactly the same and I was convinced it was a hole but Toyota explained everything to me. If you scrape around on the other side it will open up as well.

    Thanks, yup I can see the lack of weld and it looks like a drain hole now. They did that but put no drain hole on the inside of the frame, water/ salt got in but never got out. I have to say this vehicle is very different compared to other Toyotas I have owned. Some cleaver things (24mpg if its true) but then made mistakes that compromised the truck completely.

    I can confirm the 23 or so MPG city on mine.
