I have a BX 80 series Kubota, and it's just fine for my use on just under 3 acres of property. My driveway is 720 feet long getting into my property though, and we get six months of winter in this part of the country. I spend winters pushing snow, and summers dragging a box scrapper. I run a 60 inch snow plow to keep the driveway open, and so far haven't run into a situation that the tractor can't handle. If you want the option to run a front blower, or a mid mount mower, stick with the BX or the slightly larger B-series. The larger L's don't have a mid PTO to run front or under slung implements. Your driveway isn't very long though, so you may prefer a rear snowblower. I'd hate to blow snow in reverse, but the rear blower is a less expensive alternative to a front mount blower.

Get the biggest you can afford, I have a 40hp tractor for 13.5 and also help maintain another 30 so you have to get what you like and need. Going up in size after buying small cost some money.
Tractor are starting to have long lead time also

@DingleTower brother joe mows, snowblowed, plows, scoops with his 2 bx2230’s.... I’d say stay away from the bx1800’s.... 22hp and better... bx2500 would be cool... and so on. Both tractors run 60” decks all Summer long. These are 2005 model years. Ones got 600 plus hours and the other 900 plus. They do what we need them to do and maintain over 15 acres .... just giving my 2 cents

For 2005 models, not much hours...

And how many hours and year model on that ZTR is the real question?? If just mowing, hands down a 60 to 72in ZTR is FTW, twice as fast than those tractors.

Ztr only had 300.... the kubotas do all the work only because joe can get diesel cheaper than gas:D plus diesel and beer go well together :D plus all 3 tractors are the same speed and the diesels are 60” versus 52”

All fun machines...but for a 20ac place, I still would go 30hp+ machine, I even have considered getting a 30hp for my side jobs, smaller machine, lighter footprint for the sub 5ac tracks. I have not taken much side jobs on this year since I bought a small farm last December, just mostly repeat customers from in the past projects/jobs.

After the 1st week in June, I will find out if I was selected for a NRCS/USDA grant to clear invasive species, S. TX. brush and trees on my place. I drew some polygons for a total 30ac that I like to do first, satellite imagery is 27 months, so there's more growth than what appears. Live Oaks and large growth mesquite will remain.

How do you like that saw? I’ve been looking at those for some light cleanup and small jobs. I’ve thought about getting either that or maybe one of the dewalt 20V pole saws.

Great. Good enough that I plan on buying another one, only 2 complaints if its cold out, put saw in sun or heat it up indoors to add oil, plastic... and seems like your gonna break the cap, also small new growth shrub/trees/brush with 1/2 diameter and less, stems seems to get piled/clogged up underneath the saw, I cut alot of S. TX brush, 3in and smaller, let's just say after 2 batteries, I'm wore out. I don't cut more than 5 to 7 min a time, let saw cool while I pull brush and pile it for tractor.

    Tree update.

    Second burn pile started.

I have 3 much bigger trees to chop.

Seems as if you may have the need for a bigger tractor. For the most part it fits brother joes needs and also fits in all the trails that we mow for the township.... we do some side hill mowing and this b2230’s do an excellent job at it once in low gear and 4x4.... you get used to that tippy feeling once ya done it a couple times:thumbsup:

The snake was after the mice nesting in your engine heat shields. Better take a look for nests.

Crappy exploded view, but #16 here:

Toward the bottom is RIGHT side, pretty dangerous - the shop was straight up worried about how pissed I might be. I really wasn't angry or anything.
