Why do I get the feeling Roxy is in charge at the house...LOL

 

Sam is now 14 weeks old. I weighed him yesterday thinking he was around 25 lbs. He weighed in at 37 lbs. I thought the scale was off, so I tried it again. Nope, 37 lbs!

They were ready to chase down any wildlife out there...well till their feet froze!

Nope, they don't like the cold much but now they appreciate living in the desert .

That was probably their thoughts...

Looking good.

You have to introduce him to my puppy one of these days you are down in SD. I'll be traveling to OC every sunday too. Fender is about 8 and 1/2 weeks now.

 

Here is my pup, Bailey. She is a Beagle / Rottweiler Mix. My Fiance and I adopted her in July 2009 from the local pound, and she has been an amzing dog for us! We still can't figure out why not 1, but 2 families gave up on her

Beats me, but aren't you glad you have her, and she never has to worry again. Love pound puppies. They always appreciate you.

Unfortunately some people do things on the spur of the moment, then realize they can't handle it and sadly for the dog, they go from place to place.

Hate to say this but, I know someone who adopted a puppy, when the pup (12 weeks old?) jumped up to play and scarred or scratched their son (6-7 yrs old), they returned the dog.
What were they thinking?? Yeah, the puppy will jump and nip as it plays, until the dog is trained, that's what it will do.

You don't have to worry about people like those who kicked your baby to the curb. There is a special plan in the hear after made by that big dog lover in the sky....and that allows you to empty your heart of that little bit of bitterness (Yep I gotta constantly remind myself of who those jack asses are and how I have to turn to my six yahoo's and love them some more) towards those people so you can give all up for that furry little creature that likes to run and jump on you when your in bed trying to get those last few minutes of slip.....LOL.
