Reading the thread I snipped, Matt was saying some of those sensors are better than others- I'm curious how good the 2TR one is. If I ever get this thing tuned I'll asked the tuner, maybe have this^ standing by in the glove box haha

So you guys don't think I'm a slacker, I've got about 3K in brick work I need done and I've made my mind up I want a patio that's going to cost me about 4K so my Taco budget is almost non-existent at this point. What I do have is everything I need to swap over to a auto trans but the tuner told me it's easier to tune with a manual and I'll get a better tune with my manual so I'm waiting to swap after the tune.

I bet yours is fine unless you are getting false knock.

Oh man brick work. Ouch that’s painful. Yeah I’m used to the taco taking the backseat. At least it’s not on jackstands.

The lintels used back in 1948 were not galvanized so they swell and lifted the entire body of bricks above the windows in the back, they're all over the place and the mortar is jacked; to make it worst someone johnny patched the mortar with caulk and it looks horrible. I'm going to have them remove the old bricks, install new lintels and replace the bricks. If anyone is looking for steady work become a brick mason, they stay busy and they make good money. I do 95% of my own work but I'm not trying this one.

This is a true statement. You can hold rpm and load way easier than with an auto.

So how painful it is to fill flow data for a Denso injector? I have some 540cc injectors right now. Can't find any good data on them.
Denso 23250-74200. They run awesome on my piggyback. Am I better off jumping to some injector dynamics from the start?

Some type of turbo Toyota from Japan. I think found them on eBay years ago by just doing a Google search. They had a 2rz performance tag.

It's pretty much the same injector as stock but just higher flowing. Worked great for tuning a piggyback but not sure if it translates over to a standalone

You'd have to try to find dead times (dwell times), to enter for the voltage scaling. There might be a similar vehicle in the Haltech Toyota list, which has those injectors, or something near. Not sure what the OEM size Supra injectors were. Maybe a Soarer, or IS350?

That would get you round -about close.

It does seem I can test out different values and run some testing too. I'll run them and see how it works. I'll look for some maps too. I have time

You can send injectors off for this stuff?

May also be able to get the data from emailing an engineer from Denso Aftermarket.

It's an engineering test. Labor intensive, but you can test it while on the truck.

Thanks sent denso an email. Only scary thing is that part# doesn't pop up on their site. Might be a Toyota #.

Denso already got back to me. They said they quit making fuel injectors a few years ago. So no more injector data. You can really only find these injectors in China now. No wonder why the price has gone down so much on these. Off to the next issue.

Here is how to do it from scratch on a Haltech trial and error. It's really just so that my VE table doesn't get tweaked too much from what it should be at.

So you know how you guys were talking about oil pressure. I have a sensor on my 1uz and on a cold start it pegs at 100 psi. After it warms up it drops to 25 psi idle and back up to 100 when driving lol. Apparently this is normal for them too. I can only image what a turbo would do at 100 psi

Kaboom! Oil pressure regulators would definitely be needed in that situation.
