    My Mariners are doing a slow fade. They need more offense. At least they aren't as bad as the Tigers.

    And my Royals start the best in years, then lose 11 straight including getting swept by the Tigers o_O and now have won 2 outta 3 from the team that "had" the best record in baseball, the White Sox.

    You figure that individuals are gonna have individual games that suck but how does an entire team suck for 11 games then . . . almost like they're a team again?

    I know . . . long season!

    Right when I was ready to put my Pirates on life support, they come back and walk off two in a row against the Giants. 17 - 22 isn't bad for a team that had the worst record by far last year and is in a full rebuild mode. We will see how they compete once the better players are traded away by the trade deadline.

    Is what it is. Astros fan since I was a kid that's not changing bc of some b/s that started with Yankees/Red Sox using apple watches. Not saying it was right but they are still my team.

    Lol..typical Yankee fan. "We never do anything wrong" i guess I missed where I said it was everyone else's fault. Astros did it, we as fans and the players on that team have to live with it. But I'm not blind or dumb either that other teams got caught and given a slap on the wrist for cheating before 2017.

    Have a good day

    Winning in May is nice and every win counts but none of it really matters as long as you get enough of them to make it to the dance in October. “Not sucking” isn’t a very high bar but the last few years have made even that seem out of reach. After a month in first place things seemed rosy but that turned to thorns getting swept by the Dodgers. Baseball is by far the least predictable sport.

    Yup, I know . . .

    Streaks are just beyond weird. And after the 11 straight losses, here in the last 10, had it not been for the worst call all year the 4th game in the Chicago series, we would have taken 3 of 4 from them [split 2-2], then 4-1 at home, and tonight just beat the Rays who "had" 11 straight wins. Finally got Mondesi back tonight. First time all year we have been at full strength.

    Back to .500 :bananadance::dancingbacon::broccoli::jellydance::kona:

    Tit for tat I guess. I can’t recall when the top 3 teams were neck & neck and running away like this. And despite all 3 dealing with a variety of missing players.

    so, everything has settled down to status quo for us Reds fans...near the bottom of the NL Central. 6 games behind; 4-6 in the last 10...

    at least my Leafs are still in the playoffs....sort of...
