@tacotongue how much of the receiver sticks out of the bumper?

 

i’ll measure it the next time i put it on. got adventures coming up in the meantime i hope this pix helps....

How are you locking your extensions in? Im struggling due to the solid shank on the Curts and the lack of a lip on bumper ins and outs.

 

Anybody using a BAMF dual swing out with a Kuat Sherpa bike rack? Wondering if it’ll work. I need to carry gas (rotopax) and 5 or 11 lb propane tanks.

 

I use a standard hitch pin. The lockable ones are too long to fit.

 

Anyone have and pictures of 2nd gen HC with no swing outs? Debating between standard replacement and HC, and would like to order while this sale is going on.

 

I am wondering if anyone, or you @JLee, have a pic or pics of your single and double jerry can holders?

Just ordered my rear bumper, the final piece to my BAMF bumper duo.
Love my front hybrid!

 

Only the single posted a few pages back. I'm working on the Dual can mount. it's a copy of the the single only wider. We were going to stack two singles but it got really heavy so I'm lighting up the dual a little by making it one piece.

@JLee are the bumpers supposed to come with camera relocate brackets?

 

Yes we will have a camera bracket (still working on the design) that will be shipped to everyone that has ordered a bumper. It will relocate the camera near the license plate so the tire doesn't block it.

 

Also looking forward to the standard bumper with swing outs!

 

Ordered during the Memorial Day sale...really impressed with the quality of my front bumper, as well as the coating. Had to get the high clearance non swing rear to match...hopefully I won’t regret not getting a the swingout lol.

 

Just get the swingout...you can always unbolt the arms if you dont need them!!!

 

I thought about it...I’ve got a camper shell and frequently leave my tailgate down and glass closed for long items. I couldn’t do that with swingouts as I don’t want to be without a spare. I’ve got a longbed as well so room isn’t much of an issue. I might change my mind if I ever get to 35s though lol. I can always get another down the road I guess. Looking forward to getting it on in a few months. The wait begins.

 

You can remove the swingouts with 1 bolt, and you can fit things on the tailgate with them on as long as stuff isn't bolted over them. I can get my shell window open as well but YMMV.

 

does the dropper hitch have any wiggle on it? what brand did you go with?
