F is a good call to own right now. It's going up, and when they announce a dividend reinstatement it's going to jump then. That's probably when I'll sell. I don't have a lot it's just some "play" funds.

And I am hoping for crypto to come back too. I'm only on house money but went from about 300 to 100. Glad I didn't pull anything in on the first dip. Waiting for this to settle out, looks similar to March 2020 right now. Once it settles out I'll buy some more - probably middle next week is when I think we'll see a floor in the major cryptos (BTC, LTC, ETH, etc)

 

Ooooo I have a boykin! Best dogs in the world, my parents have one too. He LOVES swimming. He’ll swim 100 yds out in the ocean like its no big deal and ride the waves back in literally body surfing. My parents live on the water in the cape so he’s out there now, happiest place on earth for him, he’ll swim the entire day/dig for oysters. Such smart dogs. real answer: BTC or ETH. BTC is the most widely used - if you think JPMC isn't actually buying up a ton, Tesla has a ton, etc.

They're both crypto currencies but vary wildly in their actual setup. However, both are in great real potential long term. Short term, if this is the crash or we're only half way there, couldn't tell you. Seems like we are in the midst of -20% days right now, once we see it stablize a bit it'll probably trade flat for a few weeks, that's when to buy. Gobble that shiz up because it'll go back to its old levels pretty quickly, I think.

 

Crypto is on sale

 

Just using VTI as the example,



On 3/13 it was on sale. It still went a lot lower. If you waited for it to bottom out, and come up a bit more stable, you would get it for the same as on sale on 3/13, without risking buying on a dead cat and it going immediately down more. It'll still be on sale for a while, right now you risk tomorrow being another -20% day. Yes it'll come back to these levels and go higher, in my opinion too, but at least in my perspective, I'm waiting until it levels out a bit and we see it go sideways for a while and then I'm in again.

 

Cost averaging = sales for days. Not gonna break the bank in one go around.

I mean I could have gone with SPY QQQ etc too, pretty much everyone joined along for the divebomb feb thru march and then leveled out into April toward a recovery. I use VTI because I don't really invest elsewhere.
