    My sweet spot was the ik22 that is 2 steps cooler and that heat range is the fr7.
    That’s what I’m using now.

    I’m wondering if there is anyone here that has a haltech Stand alone setup for their supercharger?

    I’ve tried to get some input on another posting but no one has chimed in on having one with a SUPERCHARGER.

    I’m probably going to pull the trigger the end of this week for the haltech 2000 and for once and all
    have a perfect tune with a more aggressive timing.
    No more open loop close loop to deal with
    No more MAF sensor to deal with
    Much Better timing number

    Any input good or bad would be appreciated.

    There is a plug and play setup that takes less than an hour to install with a base map that will need fine tuning that’s available in the 750 model and the 2000 model

    Not emissions compliant so unless your in a non emissions county here in CO you will fail when they hook up to your OBD2.

    Great for a race car though!

    The nice thing is it takes 30 minutes or less to swap back and forth if you want to run it off road.
    And you can actually install two maps, one that is compliant to 14.7 afr btw And you can install a switch back and forth Says the program guy of these

    I saw You are running the 2" pulley. Do you gap your plugs tighter to stop the boost from blowing out the spark?

    sorry about all the questions. Ive had a few to ask you for awhile now since you have the experience. where did you find a 1.9? special made? I run the pulleyboys 2.0 pulley but since I started running it my valve covers have started seeping oil. are you pushing much oil out of the valve cover breathers?

    Had it custom modified for me, and works because I’m at 5300 feet but probably don’t recommend it unless you have your supercharger ported and your spraying a lot of water to cool the supercharger down along with headers etc.
    Supercharger was not designed to spin that fast and the bearing are pushing the limits.
    I have seen plenty of post with others saying they see very little difference from a 2.1 to a 2. Pulley.

    If I was at a lower elevation I would not need a 1.9 pulley.
    My valve covers are fine, They last about 150k before they start leaking again.
    I’m running full synthetic mobile one too, ZERO leaks so far

    ya My covers are due for a new gasket. Right now I still have my 7th injector for fueling & cooling but plan on switching to methanol. I bought the snow stage 2 kit but have not installed yet. I run synthetic 5 -30. I also run a Hayden 1040 Heavy duty (Diesel) engine oil cooler to take heat out of my oil. I usually run it about 8k miles and it still looks fresh when I change it

    Your truck is still OBD2 compliant so you will have to swap ECU's for it to pass. Yours is old enough to still get run on the rollers but the newer trucks are OBD plug in only to check for codes and readiness monitors.

    I've seen that kit for a few years and would love to run it to ditch the factory ECU but the emissions part of it killed the idea for me.

    The 750 is NOT OBII compatible,
    The 2000 IS OBII compatible so the scanguage and check engine lights will still work.

    Last time I did my Emissions 8 months ago they just looked to see if I had an OBII port because my scanguage was using it, they did NOT disconnect it and they did not check the OBII function or if there were codes, they ran the truck on the treadmill tho
    They did not even open the hood!

    It always passes with flying colorS with the supercharger

    I emailed that video to Magnuson. This was the response

    “There is some play and you will hear some noise when doing that. If there is no excessive resistance / grinding noises, then you should be OK but its hard to tell without evaluating the supercharger in person”

    So I guess I’m just going to run it.

    I’m just trying to get the truck rolling again. DT headers had some fitment issues and DT asked me to send them in after looking at pictures. Thanks to California being terrified to go outside and the huge influx of e commerce for things like paper towels and a bag of chips FedEx is taking twice as long to get them delivered.

    I don’t think they do any rebuilds at all anymore. They told me to go to SOL. But I firmly believe SOL is highway robbery. How in the fuck can you tell me changing the needle bearings is $700 and think that’s fair.
