I THINK it might be covered. I've seen Rocky take care of their bikes regardless of fault. We've already started the process. Just need to hear back. I'm gonna go by the shop on Monday and get everything submitted. But you're right. AL would've probably gone kaput as well.

Man that sucks, I did something similar last year fell on my left side and broke 2 ribs. Worst injury I have had to date. Hope you heal up quick man!

I’ve broken ribs in the past and you’re right, it’s the absolute worst injury especially when you laugh, cough or sneeze.

Luckily this injury hasn’t been too bad pain wise. It’s mostly just uncomfortable. My sprained wrist actually hurts more

 

Life is starting to feel somewhat normal again

 

I got the hiccups with 4 broken ribs a few years ago, and contemplated ending it after about 30 seconds

Howdy folks! Checking into this thread for the first time. I've been a long time mountain biker and I've only owned my tacoma for a little over a month so far... I must say it is a better trail vehicle than my old Forester... For one, the truck can actually hold the weight of the rack, two bikes, and two people without sagging like crazy!

Can't wait to take some longer bike trips with it!

As for the bike, I'm rocking a custom-built hardtail steel 29er. 67* HT angle, 120mm travel and a 70.5* STA- to accommodate for my disproportionally long femurs. Being a tall guy with long legs, I could never get my body position right and put up with poor fit for years.

Well, going custom was a game changer and I can ride for longer and with less discomfort than I ever had before!
