I just purchased 5 F5s, 16x8 -25 in dark bronze. I’d consider selling them at cost if someone threw in a ARB twin air compressor. I’m open to used compressor as long as it’s in good shape. ‍♂️

This right here is the main problem with scs ordering process, people literally order the limited inventory just to resale at a mark up. Then the people that actually want the wheels get screwed out of the inventory by either it being announced a few hours before the drop. Like can we get a small heads up like hey new inventory should be in in 2 weeks, stay tuned for dates once the shipment gets closer… nope we still on some hunger games shit. MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR

I purchased them to put on my truck but I realized I probably need the compressor more, especially since I’ll need to hack my bumper to put these on.

I’m sorry I mentioned it. It was stupid. I’ll either sell them at cost and buy the compressor I need, or just put them on my truck.

I'm new to this and couldn't agree more. Another issue is comparable wheels (16"x8" -10 to -12 OS) are also out of stock. I guess this is the nature of the business in the current climate, maybe this will encourage companies to manufacture in the states.

There’s ways to make this much simpler such as a non refundable deposit that gets your wheels held pending full payment once they get on US soil. You have x amount of days to pay the remaining balance and if it goes beyond that day they release the wheels that were held to general stock. Very simple but he just doesn’t give a shit about the customer experience…. Not a bad guy just runs his business a certain way and one that in my opinion makes people very frustrated trying to buy wheels. My buddy had discount mess up 3 of his stealth 6’s and has been trying to replace them for 3 months now. He’s over it and now looking for different wheels

Blue beast, we’re on the same wavelength. I have nothing against SCS, but it just seems like a silly game.

I thought about SCS, but the width/offset combination didn’t fit my very specific needs. And the ordering process seemed ludicrous to me.

So I bought 17x8.5 wheels with a -18 offset from another manufacturer. I won’t name them here. That would be tacky. See my posts elsewhere to find out!

I’m rocking my gold ray 10’s and love them just would a. Like to get a spare at some point and b. Be devastated if they got mangled at a tire shop because I know how difficult it would be to replace… I honestly might just sell the truck

Amidst all the frustration surrounding the buying process or why people buy these wheels, I’m happy to share a more positive note of how great these BR6s look in a 16x8. Thought for a long time on if I wanted black or gunmetal and am stoked that I went with gunmetal. Somehow just got lucky enough to hit the pay button before anyone else... I do agree that getting a set is certainly a chance game. It took 6 months of trying to get this set. Thankfully I think 16x8s are not as popular. I’ll say ladies and gentlemen, for me at least, the wait is worth it...
