Ive been debating these wheels for a while, anyone running 285/75/17's with em?

I think with 4.75" backspacing and ZERO offset, these wheels put the tire at about the same spot as say a ray10 would in the same size (17x8.5 4.3" w/ 10mm offset)
to my understanding, your trading backspacing for offset here, the rim will appear less (or more?) shallow, but the rubber will be in roughly the same spot.

Anyone running the StopTech BBK with these rims? (not the 16" version)

Seen your photo in the other thread just now lol

Looks good! Cycle the suspension yet?

Im planning on huge cmc and pinch weld, maybe some little plastic trimming at the corners, but im not sure if anyone is hitting the tops of their flares/fenders

Thanks! Sorry for the late reply but I got back from the desert. Anyways I did cycle a bit through suspension. Currently, I'm running icon dj uca, fox 2.5 dsc in the front and stock in the back(waiting on accutune/fox), and icon rxt leafs. The thing rides like a beast on dirt. Anyways, yes I did a bit of rubbing on the inner plastic fender near the pinch weld and the top inner fender. I have done a pre viper cut/cmc/pinch weld before the tire/wheel install. Good luck!

which lug bolts are those? Doesn't look like the Method ones they sell recommended for the wheels
same goes for the wheel lock

I don't understand the Method ones. Almost as if they're the only ones that fit the narrow hole due to being spline. I doubt it. Many lug nuts are spline. And their spline would be a weak wheel lock to protect these from theft.
Spline lugs are much easier to defeat than key groove locks.

Was it the 17x8.5? I think they also have a 17x9
FWIW the ranges of wheel width for 255/80/17 and 285/70/17 both seem 7-9" so 8.5" would fall within that

    Mods? Yes, oh yes..
sorry for the late reply. flat out missed your quote.

lug nuts need to be spline. Didn't realize this before. Toyota and short lugs...its a thing. As far as theft, where there is a will, there is a way. Lug locks aren't that difficult to get around but less prone to random shitheads breaking them.

Things to do: 5/8 lug upgrade
