Just wondering if this is a good deal on a 2021 automatic cement trd offroad. I've put a deposit on the truck last month and it is suppose to be coming in sometime in mid June. The MSRP was $45,032 but I was able to talk them down to $41405. So after TTL and DOC fee it came out to $45298. The truck comes with the TRD premium offroad package, LED interior light upgrade, LED headlights and fog lights, technology package and carpet floor mats.

According to @Chastaco this is the latest in the current market for a deal rating

    1% off =average good deal
    3%=good
    5%=very good
    7%=excellent
Accurate Gauge of Tacoma Price Info:
    1. Year, trim, color, transmission, bed
    2. MSRP(before dealer add ons)
    3. Options
    4. Cost of dealer add ons- (tint, floor mats, nitrogen, etc)
    5. Price before Tax Title License (TTL) including incentive/rebate
    6. Discount 1-(#5/#2)*100=% off MSRP)
    7. Incentive (rebate/customer cash)
    8. Price Out The Door (OTD)
    9. Trade in vehicle(year, make, model, trim)
    10. Kelley blue book trade-in value
    11. Trade allowance(amount given for trade)
    12. Date purchased
    13. State purchased
Ultimately, it just comes down to if you think/feel like you got a good deal, the rest is just useless internet approval.

I'm happy you're happy. This answers the question of whos paying 10k mark ups.

Many states have a set limit on the Doc fee. Arizona has a doc fee of $500 +/-
The destination fee is charged to the dealerships by Toyota. I doubt you would be able to get anyone to eat that cost as that's a direct cost from MFG to DLR.

Know the destination/delivery fee is the mfg to dlr but I just assumed since ultimately I'm paying the dealer "x" that includes that destination fee that it didn't truly matter where I negotiated. Delivery, doc or price of truck. Semantics at the end of the day.

It is semantics, I'm just saying they most likely won't negotiate the destination fee or doc fee. If you word it that way it'll just be one more brick wall you'll run up against IMO/IME

Definitely a true and rational statement but dealerships or not a rational place. Just talk about the deal as a whole. What will be the price out the door. Like he’s saying, they’re going to tell you that those things are nonnegotiable.

I paid around 48k after taxes for a TRD OR premium in Washington. Tax sucks here. But i love my taco.

I make reasonably decent money and I certainly can't afford what is being asked for new trucks these days. Can I buy one? Sure, easily. Can I AFFORD one looking at price VS income as a percentage over 4 years if I financed it and kept it under 10% of income yearly, nope.

I thought 31.5 before TTP was close to too much back in 2015 for a DCTRDOR, prices now.........yeesh.

I did wander a lot a few weeks ago, 39K for a basic SR 4x4 is an eye opener.

I really wouldn’t know what every package entails. I got a bit off because military discount but it seems to have most bells and whistles.

7568 is the factory code for a DCLB OR. Guessing yours has the advanced tech & premium OR plus port/dealer options.

The term “good deal” can be used pretty loosely these days but The market might be something like this:
    1% off =average good deal
    3%=good
    5%=very good
    7%=excellent

Accurate Gauge of Tacoma Price Info:
    1. Year, trim, color, transmission, bed

    4. Cost of dealer add ons- (tint, floor mats, nitrogen, etc)
    5. Price before Tax Title License (TTL) including incentive/rebate
    6. Discount 1-(#5/#2)*100=% off MSRP)
    7. Incentive (rebate/customer cash)
    8. Price Out The Door (OTD)
    9. Trade in vehicle(year, make, model, trim)
    10. Kelley blue book trade-in value
    11. Trade allowance(amount given for trade)

I tried to get The mods to make it stuck to the top of each page but that was understandably a no go.

Its probably the number 1 question that gets asked here.

Talking about pricing and dealer ins/outs is like a hobby in itself lol
