What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I tapped it lightly down w/ backside of screwdriver it's pretty solid & doesn't budge. Might is 3m if I mount something the the ram ball

 

Replaced billstein 5100/ eibach coils with toytec alums 2.0 coil overs.

 

Is that shift knob stock? It looks sick with the red matching the cup holder inserts

How do you like the gussets? I bent one of the stock tabs a little while back and was considering those.

After that I actually used it as a truck and brought a desk to my Niece in Waterbury.

Just curious here - what are you guys referring to when you say fake foam plates. Thanks.

 

HAVOC is into airsoft, (as am I but not like them) think of it like paintball with a heavier focus on realism, in the back of his truck he has a "bulletproof vest" more commonly referred to by those who actually use them as a plate carrier because it carries the bulletproof plates.

I was wondering if he actually was running the field with that weight on for training or realism or if it was empty, and he was saying that he has simulated plates in it, more flexible so they don't bite your gut and hips when you bend over, but still gives it mass and rigidity to a certain degree.

 

Probably just trauma pads.

 

I haven't even driven the truck yet but they are extremely stout and you want have any issues bending tabs or frame anymore.

It took probably 6 weeks to get with most of that time being in customs in Chicago.

 

A couple weeks ago but replaced my 6in spacer with full length icon vehicle dynamics with the heavier springs to support my ARB bumper!

 

Odd angle, I know. That's the gas tank and the bolt on my leaf clamp. The offending bolt has been shortened and I put a giant blob of steel epoxy over the gouge, along with a post-it note as a wear-away indicator to make sure there's no more potential rub.
