Yeah I’ve done the math. Luckily some of the headwork is already done. I’ve got double sheers welded to the coil bucket and gusseted spindles. Once I liquidate my mid travel stuff since i already have the kit complete with axles, it shouldn’t be more than 3.5k. I might even splurge on that 934 CV upgrade before I bolt it all in since I have like 5 axles sitting in my garage that could be used as cores... 2 of which are complete 2+ axles, and then I got 2 bare 2+ shafts.

Damn... I just realized I have a lot of axles.

Don’t cut up those +2” axles. How much do you want for them?

The JD fab kit and bigger tires is great, and you're very right about the technical capability. But if you're the type who wants LT despite all rational reasons why you should quite pushing the envelop with a taco and wants LT; buy once, cry once.

Actually, buy once, cry every time you break shit...

That's true for SAS, and for LT, front kits are relatively bolt on, but the back is a fab project for sure.

Oh for sure, I don't disagree with that mentality if you have the expendable funds. I mean, I'll admit I'm the first to tell people to not go LT while at the same time I'm currently in the process of installing an +2" LT kit to the truck with bypasses simply because... I want to. :burp::bikewhoops:

Oh no, I wouldn’t cut up the 2+ ones. I’ve got 3 OEM, stock length axles ready for cores.

I gotta get my Shocks ordered so I can start getting all this stuff in motion, since the shock leadtime is long everywhere.

The only thing worse than going LT is going MT, when you really want LT, hoping it will be good enough...

Guilty. My MT was fine until I put the DMZ rear on then it was all over. Thankfully my whole front is sold for a pretty decent price that almost covers the +4 kit.

I have hydro and 4wd so I might just have to go with no bumps and use the bump zone of the bypass

Excited to see your truck finished! I’m on the fence between a JD Fab kit and another TC +2 kit next year.

yeah there’s something about just wanting to push a taco as far as you can. Last year I Ls swapped and went from 2 to 3.5” lt and this year I’m gonna 4 link and cage it… next year I’m thinking supercharger….. then I might finally be done but who knows…..lol

How rough is the ls swap? Really been mulling if it's something i want to do, or just throw on the Magnuson s/c.

Honestly not that bad if you can fabricate, it was just pretty Spendy to keep my manual and 4wd, had to get the tranzilla from rockland standard gear. But if your auto you can just run a 6l80 or something like that. But I ran a 6.2 aluminum block, so I’ve got plenty of potential for more power if I want it.

Yup. the DK MT front was great. I'm pretty sure after the front is LT a 4 link in the back is next, my raptor leaf conversion may not be able to keep up.

I can't wait to get mine on. Only another month before my coilovers are ready.
