You can bank on that....went to trade our 2012 prius in with over 100k miles, you my as well find a junker that needs towing in to be just as well off.

To be fair, a Camry should be expected to outperform a pickup truck in almost every way except towing/payload and off road.

I guess it would be more accurate to say all locked automatics, and M/Ts have the larger ring gear (just speaking of V6 trucks). Therefore Sport M/T can have the 8.5 diff.

People have gotten banned because the argument on cilantro got a little too heated. At least this one is still somewhat relevant.

How was this measured? Stopwatch, gps or “other”. Could just be sound, ride quality or feelings.

Measure tailgates. If the 21 is larger, there ya go. More drag. Try it again with both gates down and let us know.

It's weight. The sport weighs less than the pro.

I drove a sport rental and it was significantly faster on acceleration than my TRD Off Road.

Did you actually watch this video to the end? If you had you would have seen that the actual times removing the idiot driver from the equation and using the gps/timer device, the Tacoma won

    0-60
    Tacoma - 10.08 seconds
    FJ - 10.22 seconds
    4Runner - 10.3

I did, it wasn't a huge win, I wouldn't be super proud of beating an old fj, but a win is a win!

Wait, That's not what you said below. You, incorrectly, stated that the other two beat the Taco. Think of how many people just read your post and went no further, since not one disagreed with your comment except me. Scientifically, the TACO was FASTEST in the video.

The FJ cruiser is 300 lbs lighter than the Taco. So the Taco was FASTER and weighs 300lbs more. Not bad in my book. And Actually, considering how terrible the gearing is on the Taco, imagine when you actually put 4.88's and 5.29's. The Taco will be in a different zip code than it's slower brethren. Not bad for an engine that is considerably smaller than the 4 liter. Obviously, the new 3.5 is a better engine. Smaller engine delivers heavier truck with terrible gearing to a win over the 4Runner and the FJ. Nice.

Your right, the Taco is a beast on the drag strip! Even with a crappy driver I’d hope the taco can beat a sheet of plywood for aerodynamics in a drag race. .14 of a second is clearly a dominating win

LMAO, and you still don't get it. Wait, oh you got a 2nd gen. Oh now your false comments make perfect sense. You have the same engine as the two losers, albeit, with a lot less horsepower. So you would have brought up the rear nicely.

All I’m saying is your highly advanced superior ride only beat a ancient FJ by .14 of a second , impressive

You forget, an FJ, that weighs 300lbs less and has a larger engine. It really should have won. What a total disappointment that old engine really is:D

Funny, that you didn't show the same level of sarcasm when you thought the win was the other way, which you did think it was. That's obvious. But we keep beating this dead horse even more. The comments are all there. No need for us to continue polluting this thread.
