I picked up a 2001 v6 2wd limited that has leather and no rust for 500 bucks last week. It needed a new fuel pump and a couple 02 sensors, and the EGR was completely unplugged. I already threw in a new pump, plugged everything back in and it runs like a champ.

Throwing code P0115-- so working on tracking down that cause.

Truck has 168k, new serpentine belts, and timing/water pump done at 98k. I am turing this vehicle into my new work vehicle and plan to drive it until it as long as possible.

Man I love this little truck-- next up is retint and new TRD wheel and tires. Since I am not lifting it-- should I go with 265/70/17s, or 265/65/17's. I do not think the 265/75/17s would work correct?

For a 2WD and no lift, I'd recommend going with a narrower tire, like a 255/75R17 or the 17" equivalent of a 235/85R16.

Good point about having more sidewall. I am in no hurry on the rims and tires-- maybe 2 months out but want to do it once and do it right.

Here is how she sits now, new rims, tires, tint, wax job, fuel pump, driver's window regulator.

This weekend will be replacing all door speakers and adding a under seat sub behind the rear seats and replacing the fuel filter with a OEM one.

    Love this little truck
