Changing Eibach perch height

    Getting ready to change the spring height from first setting to second.
    I know it's recommended to remove the spring completely from the shock, but is it possible/advisable to leave the spring attached to the top mount and compress it enough to move the snap ring and perch up, then decompress and done?

    This very well be a dumb question

    I ended up using the lower control arm+jack to compress the coils. So much faster. 1 hour total for both sides
