Thermostat just won't open

    It may be an o-ring or gasket?
    I can’t say I’ve ever seen on stopped up?
    But it’s possible I guess?:confused:

    Reading this and I hope everyone with a 3.4 isn’t putting the “jiggle” thing at the 6 o clock position. Air rises so that confuses the hell out of me to be honest. But most likely not a properly bled system to cause issues like that or incorrectly installed thermostat.

    Edit* Yes I have read that it goes at the 6 o clock position, it's just weird to hear that, that's all. I'll believe the FSM and you guys over my thoughts lol so disregard what I said about the "jiggle" valve.

    My thoughts are either airlock or backwards stat.

    If the stat isn't backwards, I would refill coolant but do it by pulling a vacuum instead.
