Finally received the 2nd part of my driver’s side grab handle.

It was definitely worth the wait. I know a lot of people bash KTJO a lot on this thread. I’m sure their experience is legitimate, but I’d like to share mine. Since I logged on their website to order the handle, they were honest about long wait times with pre orders. They made note that shipments were tied up from overseas and I figured it would take a while due to all the posts I’ve read. They were honest when they shipped part of the order rather than waiting for the handles to arrive. So I at least installed the pillar ahead of time. I received emails with shipping labels and information about the order throughout the process. Maybe some people had bad experience but if it is due to long wait time, that’s most likely the society we live in now a days. Patience is waiting for what you want most, not what you want now. Hope the rest of you that ordered have a good experience too! This product was well worth the wait to me because I grab that location every time I get in the truck and hate holding the roof of door to get in.

Now the real question is if the morimoto ones leak as bad as the OEM ones do.

Well said. I'm not taking up for any company, I know nothing about them. We do however live in a "want it now" society. We could all use a little more patience

Anyone know this part number for a 2017 4x4 Sport? Search function gives a few for newer models but a lot of folks mistake it for the thin chrome grille surrounding the actual grille insert. I need the painted / color matched upper surround that touches the hood (preferably in matte black like the OR fender flares or black valance). I've circled it in this pic. TIA!!

The snailarmor is an 1/8" aluminum panel and the mountain hatch is 1/2" plastic. Ended up going with the snailarmor because I was afraid the plastic would get gouged up over time.

You can use Plasti dip. Its a removable coating. Just take off the grill remove the chrome surround and go to it. It takes about 20 minutes to remove the grill, and chrome surround ring separated from it . Watch a few videos so you don't jack up the plastic tabs though!

So looking for direction on this. It's not an issue per se, but more of an annoyance. The wiper fluid, when used to clean the windshield, puddle at the edge/lip of the hood. Some Google searches didn't turn up much.

I found one thread here on TW, but didn't much info. There was some mentions of a shroud being replaced.

I added some some fluid this weekend, and just one of those things been meaning to ask.

For reference, I have a 16 TRD Sport.

Just picked it up last month and added a some black emblem covers, tailgate letter inserts, and a grille. Looking to get a roof rack next since the kayak is tricky to haul around in the bed.

This looks great! I've actually been thinking about building something like this for my long bed as well.

Only pools when stopped, right? Relative wind while moving prevents the pooling?
I don't know of any shroud. My first thought was that you might have to move the spray nozzles a bit closer to the windshield.
