I was a kinda bored yesterday so I loosely fit my fenders back on. These are ADV +4 fenders, I was hitting inner fender at this point, there should be some more up travel in there.
    3.5BS 16in wheel, 315s.

This is with no spacers pushing the spindle forward, they are still in front of the LCAs. It needs inner fenders Harry! Lol D379EC3C-1833-4C45-A54B-1B60B50CBCC4.jpg96014A10-F698-4A68-9741-F133A759F8D7.jpg41B9C318-46FC-473D-BAA9-066767DBB69A.jpg

I think you will either need more than an inch body lift, or you will still have to tub.

If you jump the truck, you can rub even on 33s. A body lift would probably work for 33-35s but you would still be hammering the firewall agressively to clear 35s. If you move the wheel forward you still run into the issue of the battery tray.

Look at guys who have tubbed for 37s, thier not just rasing everything up, they reform the fender well for the larger tire. Even after tubbing, most people still rub a little.

Good point. I’ve shaped the wheel well to fit 35’s but there’s not much else I can do besides going ahead and tubbing. A small body lift may keep it from the very top, but what’s the point if you’re already in there cutting and welding anyways. Maybe if you didn’t do a good job test fitting and needed just a little bit more and didn’t want to tub twice haha

Dropping my 3rd gen off tomorrow with @81Trekker to get the +4 treatment, plus the rear SUA and bypass conversion. Hopefully I'll get some nice 3rd gen JD-LT pics for you all when it's done. :headbang:

Soon to have some Fox OEM replacement shocks, UCA's, LCA's, and dakars for sale if y'all know anyone who wants em :D

Did you buy this truck from your friend? At one time I thought you were building it for someone or did I dream that?
