Well apparently taking the UCAs off on Saturday to grease the pivot sleeves did help, just took a couple days I guess. They're close to silent today. Weird...guess the grease just needed to work it's way around on it's own

Darn, no free controls arms for me then :pout:

But that's awesome to hear! If you have to do it regularly you'll get so fast you can have a side done in 15min:laughing:

Honestly I could probably have both off, greased and back on in under an hour now. I'm kind of ashamed to admit to being afraid to work on the UCAs all these years having heard it was a pain. Leaf springs are more of a pain than UCAs tbh.

But if they need this regularly then something ain't right lol

A regular fiberglass shell? My high top weighs about 180 and I carry a full set of tools and jack with with me that in total, probably weighs another 80? Now that I think about it my sliders are another 100 total :/

I just don't wanna order the expeditions and have the worst stink bug lol

Plus they ain't cheap. 637 without hardware.. makes me think about spending the dough on a set of alcans or something

Nice! I look forward to tearing mine all apart and giving it a face-lift. Everything is so saggy now I'll probably be 5" over where I'm at now

I'm still amazed he gets away with using AP standards with all that weight.

Anyone know why lowroad offroad website says the rear 5100s are only good for 1" of lift?

IIRC there are two versions of rear 5100s, one longer than the other. Been a long time though. I had them in the rear before my Icons with 3" lift

I think the 5125s are longer?

    Hello all!

    I have an ‘01 T4R.
I’d like to change my dash guage lights to be the orange that’s in the late year 1st Gen Tacoma’s. I have red LED’s currently but they have hot spots and I’m tired of it. Plus I like the way the orange looks! I remember when removing my OEM bulbs that were green, they had a little rubber green tip over the bulbs. Do I need to just go to Toyota and say hey, I need new dash lights for an ‘03 Tacoma? Or can I test my luck with the regular sylvania bulbs I can find locally or on Amazon? Those don’t have any rubber tips over them though. Because I have an ‘01, my guage lights should be the 24 bulbs. Any info is helpful and appreciated!

    No it shouldn't

Only non CARB engine or exhaust mods will, assuming they notice them

Even my snorkel is ok because it's before the maf

Do you know if they do the Dyno test on a 99?

Emissions testing done stationary with sniffer in your tailpipe.

Yeah your 99 will. 2000 and under get the tailpipe and dyno test, which sucks cause it's more inclusive than just a obdII scan and visual like mine gets

Even for the STAR test I didn't get tailpipe/dyno tested
