Mornin' Y'all! Hope those of you that went to the C&C have/had a good time.

Time for another cup of Joe and then chores, outside with the heat, humidity, and the demon bugs from hell!

 

Gotta take my kid to scouts than back to floors... two rooms and a foyer left. Bad thing is I still have to rip up flooring in the last room.

This takes entirely too long and is much slower when my wife and kid help

I got to the 'coffee and Yota' event around 9:30, I parked next to another 3rd gen T4R and chatted with the guy with the 80 series LC. I didn't see any trucks that I recognized from our forum, sorry if I missed anyone.

 

Did you go to the one in New Market or Dullas?
I think most of us all went to the one up in Frederick at the Krispy Cream. @RedDeadTaco myself and three others were at that one. Ten of us went over to Bear Chase Brewery for lunch. Then we all drove to the cars and cigars meet over in Ashburn.

Well somebody in Bucks County won $500,000,000.00. Anybody we know?

 

Krusty Kreme in S Frederick, close to the silver diner. Since I have no idea what most of our guys drive and I've only met one other person from our forum, I could have easily walked past someone. I saw a few 3rd gen tacos but didn't see any peoples near them. The only people that would talk to me was the guy with the 80Series LC and a guy with a 4th gen 4runner parked next to him. He gave me a HiLux Surf decal for whatever reason.

 

I avoid eye contact with people in “Ask me about Jesus” T shirts.

Well it was a Hilux Surf meet not a TW meet (reason for sticker). They do 1 every month there but also include all Toyota’s.Only been to 2of them myself but not much into standing around a parking lot and eating shitty donuts.

 

I don't remember names much so I have a hard time trying to introduce myself to people cause I think they'll be like "yeah I'm not on your online group buddy" (I fear someone looking like @68dave is gonna say something like that and I'll feel like a kid)

But when I do meet people on the forum they're great so I'm going to stop thinking like that. The only reason I will remember @crazyfingers is cause I was supposed to meet him a week before so when I saw he was coming I made it a point to meet someone new. Also met @Smoketown and his wife who were right up my alley lol. And I'm forgetting Andrews tag, not Majora, but I remember him cause he seems a goof like me.

 

Well it was cool to finally put a face to the name and glad you made out to this one. Oh and Andrews tag is @RedDeadTaco .

is the big 3 wiring upgrade a thing with tacomas? i’ve been searching but haven’t found too much on 3rd gens

 

That was IZZ! He started HiluxSurf OffRoad and Toyota Trail Teams groups. He drives that white 80 series LC, as well as a 1st gen 4Runner and a red 80 series LC. You should join the facebook group for HiluxSurf Off Road. We post events often and the comradery is great.
