good enough for KOH, good enough for me
all the kinks will be worked out in due time
considering the complexities of outer space and the deep ocean, pretty sure hybrid and or full EV tech will rule the 4wd overlanders

Yeh RIVIAN has definately worked out off roading issues best they can without consumers having at them. Toyota definately will have it taken care of. This isn't Toyota's first rodeo. They will have PHEV issues taken care of.

I think it's definitely taking a chapter from the Land Cruiser playbook. Tacoma TRD Pro: Heritage Edition.

Done because they realized that the yellow-green color might polarize, so having another option could leverage their bets.

Not much on the 07 yet. 18 is gone, but was a greata truck. TRD Pro grill, Gator FX3, Homelink mirror, Black out badges & exhaust tip, Remote start. Future TRD exhaust, skid plate.

The hybrid is scheduled for 2023 in the Tacoma and Tundra in the U.S. Toyota has already announced it.

Bilstein 6112 front / 5100 rear (extended) shocks, Headstrong AAL, Firestone airbags, 4.88 gears, OME Carrier bearing drop kit, Aluminum 1/4" skids (engine to transfer). Custom sliders (1.75" HREW tube w/ 3/16" base plates). Custom front bumper and high clearance rear bumper (1/4" steel plate, 1.75" tube.) Apex 5500 winch w/synthetic line (36lbs) and required accessories for an underpowered winch (snatch blocks and extra line.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.) Cat shields by CaliRaised. Husky liners, window tint, heated seat (passenger only.) Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel/axe/fire extinguisher.) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. Anytime rear with front facing camera. Billet front seat risers. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires.
I'd be down for some of those ol' school funky plaid seat insets that Toyota had in Landcruisers and Tercels.

They announced Hybrids for all models by 2025(not 2023 my bad) for the US. And full EV for overseas. Was announced at the Shanghai Auto show earlier this year. There will be a full EV Tacoma/Tundra but it probably doesn’t make it here.

Yellow is my favorite color and if I ever get a fun sports car that will be my first choice, but not sure about it on a truck/Tacoma. I'll stick with my Cement!

I could go for a schoolbus yellow, single cab F350 with manual locking hubs.

Didn't LunarRock, and CactusGray orginate from that similar shade available on the Crosstrek?

In automotive terms yes. I'm betting you will see the MY '24 4th gen for sale in late '23. So 2 years is a huge amount of time.

I of course am just guessing, but so is everyone else at this point.

I should say since the Tundra got pushed back from '21 to '22 and with the current world we live in, it could be anytime in the '20's at this point for the next gen Taco.
