After a few months of trying I finally got a keeper black drum from the surf. Still waiting on the pompano to show up in full force.

Here are just a couple of mine up here in Washington State last year caught on Corkey setups. One was kinda heavy! Coho (Silver) and a Chinook or (King)

 

Ulua also known as GT.

 

First two cats of the year, and the first after moving to Lake Wylie a few months ago. Second fish hit as I releasing the first. Used hot dogs as bait.

 

Ono, 60 pounds.

 

Caught 8 stripers today, 5 catfish and an eel today.

 

Here are a few from this weekends fishing trip. We went out to the local swimming beach, people feed the fish there, so there are millions of sunfish, bass, bullhead, and golden shiners. It was non-stop action for the kids and they loved it. Nothing super huge was caught, but they all had a great time and want to go again. I think next time I will be teaching the oldest how to remove her own fish so I can take a little bit of a break.


We were using tiny snell hooks and power bait crappie nibblers. I used a creme mini crankbait and got a few good sized green sunfish.

Been catching a bunch of walleye and sheepshead on Lake Erie with a scattering of white perch, white bass and one big fat catfish that hit a crank bait.
