Good morning everybody. We made it past Monday.

Off to work till lunch, then it’s a PT session for my neck. I don’t think I’ll be going back to work after that.

Good morning y'all. Off to my buddies shop in Hermann to change oil and look at AC on the Subaru. It's nice to have a shop guy. @Tacoma Mike will appreciate this. Open since 1918, Louis has been there since 1958 and my buddie since 1998.
Y'all be safe out there, heat rash is possible.

    Way Cool

Your own private shop where you can store stuff on the wall instead of using 3 padlocks
To try and keep your shit safe in a box. Spend money on tools to help you do the job right instead of money on a big expensive container.

I knew you would appreciate that and I thank you. It's sad where our trade as gone. I guess we could thank the lack of loyalty the dealerships have shown the customer, or the lack of interest in our schools to train our kids in the trades. Whatever the reason, I thank you and fella's like louis for the great service over the years. My guy Adam is carrying on the tradition and I'm proud of him for doing so.

I really didn’t plan on going back to work, I was just trying to appear like a dedicated employee  At this point in my countdown clock pretty much any excuse to take off is working.

The neck issue is pretty much worked out at this point. It’s a mildly herniated disk from a work related traffic crash several years ago. When I was conducting our agency transition to the red dot pistols I was wearing my raid vest on the range 3 days a week for a month and a half, that aggravated the disk and caused some numbness and grip strength issues. That has resolved itself and the neurologist said the MRI showed not enough damage for him to consider surgery. He scheduled me for PT which has really helped. I think they will release me in the next few weeks
